Settlement (Indefinite Leave to Remain) Applications

If an applicant is unable to satisfy the specific requirements of the Immigration Rules, they may still submit an application on the basis of compelling and exceptional circumstances that warrant consideration outside the standard provisions.

 

    • Set(LR) – 10 year long residence

    • Set(M) – 5 year route as partner/spouse

    • Set(O) – Other Categories (e.g., Skilled Worker, Global Talent, UK Ancestry)

    • SET(F) – For children

    • SET(P) – For those granted asylum or humanitarian protection

    • SET(PL) – Private life settlement

    • Adult Dependent Relative route (under Appendix FM)

    • EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) – Settled status

Discretionary leave to remain (Outside the Rule application)

 

    • If an applicant is unable to satisfy the specific requirements of the Immigration Rules, they may still submit an application on the basis of compelling and exceptional circumstances that warrant consideration outside the standard provisions.

Variation of Leave / Conditions
