We are proud to have built our reputation over 25 years of experience, bringing together a distinguished group of self-employed barristers, each an independent tenant of the Chambers, and supported by an experienced team of clerking and administrative staff.
As is customary with chambers under the Bar of England and Wales, our barristers operate individually but share vital communal resources, including our premises, clerks, administration, and support infrastructure. This collaborative model allows our barristers to focus on providing expert advocacy and advice, while benefiting from the collective expertise and efficient services of the chambers.

Our Chambers is led by Mr. Mohammed Monwar Hossain, an accomplished barrister with over 25 years of legal experience. As a Public Access Barrister registered with the Bar Council of England and Wales, Mr. Hossain provides direct legal services to clients without the need for an instructing solicitor or intermediary. With an outstanding record of success, Mr. Hossain has consistently achieved favourable outcomes in countless cases. He is widely respected within the community for his sincere, honest, and dedicated approach to providing legal advice and representation.
Mr. Hossain is also deeply committed to giving back, undertaking extensive pro bono legal work to assist those who cannot afford representation. Beyond his legal practice, he is actively involved in human rights advocacy, serving as the Secretary General of Human Rights International, a UK-based organization he has been part of since 1994. The late Rt. Hon. Robert Perry, a prominent UK human rights leader and Labour MP for 25 years, was the organization’s founding president.
Mr. Hossain has represented the organization on the global stage, attending the UN General Assembly of the Human Rights Commission in Geneva and participating in various UN meetings in New York. His dedication to both his profession and the betterment of society underscores the core values of our Chambers.

Barrister S M Fayyaz Amin
S M Fayyaz Amin was called to the Bar on 14 March 2019. He holds an LLB degree from the University of Law and an LLM from the prestigious University College London (UCL). Since 2019, he has been actively involved in legal work, starting as a caseworker and now a tenant at the MH Barristers.
Professional Background
From 2019 to 2022, Fayyaz Amin worked as a caseworker at the Chambers of M M Hossain, gaining experience in various legal areas, particularly in immigration. His hard work and dedication were recognized in 2023 when he was offered pupillage at the same Chambers. After successfully completing his pupillage, he was invited to join as a tenant in 2023.

Fayyaz Amin specializes in immigration law, with expertise in handling cases related to Asylum, Human Rights claims, Family Life applications, Skilled Worker Sponsor Licenses, Business Immigration, Judicial Reviews, First-tier Tribunal Appeals, Civil Claims, and Landlord-Tenant disputes. He appears in a range of courts, including the First-tier Tribunal, County Courts, and Magistrates’ Courts.
Qualifications:
In September 2023, Fayyaz Amin completed his Public Access Training, becoming accredited as a Public Access Barrister. This allows him to accept instructions directly from clients without the need for a solicitor, making his services more accessible. He continues to accept solicitor referrals for hearings and provides valuable legal counsel to clients in a variety of cases.

This strong academic foundation has equipped him with the legal knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel as a Public Access Barrister.
